Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Nomadis (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use ZI (the “Service”).
1. Information we collect
We collect information in the following categories:
- Account and authentication. If you sign in through a provider such as Clerk, we receive identifiers and profile data that provider shares with us (for example, user ID, email address, and name) according to your settings and that provider’s policy.
- Service configuration. Information you submit to operate the Service, such as endpoint URLs, display names, monitoring settings, and alert preferences.
- Monitoring and technical data. When the Service checks endpoints you configure, we process timestamps, HTTP status codes, response times, and related diagnostic data needed to show history, status, and alerts.
- Communications. If you contact us, we keep the content of your message and contact details you provide.
- Logs and device data. Standard server and application logs may include IP address, user agent, request paths, and approximate timing, used for security, debugging, and reliability.
2. How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service (including monitoring, dashboards, and notifications).
- Authenticate users and enforce access controls.
- Send operational emails (for example, endpoint status changes) when you enable or configure such notifications.
- Protect the security and integrity of the Service and comply with legal obligations.
- Analyze aggregate or de-identified usage to improve the product.
3. Legal bases (where applicable)
If the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on performance of a contract, legitimate interests (such as securing the Service and understanding usage), and consent where required (for example, certain cookies or marketing, if offered).
4. Sharing and subprocessors
We share information with:
- Service providers who assist us (for example, hosting, database, authentication, and email delivery), bound by contractual obligations.
- Integration channels you enable (for example, webhooks or third-party notification systems you configure).
- Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
Authentication may be provided by Clerk or similar vendors; their processing is described in their privacy documentation.
5. Storage and retention
We store data on infrastructure we or our providers operate. We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Check results and history may be retained for operational and analytical periods consistent with our configuration; we may delete or aggregate older data over time.
6. Security
We implement technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the Service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. International transfers
If you access the Service from outside the country where our servers or providers are located, your information may be transferred and processed across borders. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses).
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. To exercise these rights, contact us using the channels below. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority where applicable.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for session and security (for example, session cookies after sign-in). If we use non-essential analytics or marketing cookies, we will describe them and, where required, obtain consent.
10. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 16 (or the age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated through the Service or by email where appropriate.
12. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, contact Nomadis through the support or contact channels published for the Service.
